Privacy Policy

We process personal data (hereinafter mostly referred to as “data”) only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its content and the services offered there.

Pursuant to Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”), “processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the nature, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we alone or jointly with others determine the purposes and means of processing. In addition, we inform you about third-party components used for optimisation purposes and to increase user experience, insofar as third parties process data under their own responsibility.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described below, users and data subjects have the right:

  • to confirmation whether data concerning them are being processed, to information about the processed data, further information about data processing and copies of the data (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • to rectification or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • to immediate deletion of data concerning them (Art. 17 GDPR), or alternatively to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR;
  • to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to have this data transmitted to other providers/controllers (Art. 20 GDPR);
  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom personal data have been disclosed of any rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing. Users also have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Users and data subjects also have the right to object to future processing of their data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, especially for direct marketing purposes.

III. Information on data processing

Your data processed during use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

c) Removal

You can disable or delete cookies via browser settings. Some functions may then be unavailable.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and optionally name/address, plus IP, date and time.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link.

Server data

Technical data (browser, OS, referrer, pages visited, IP, date/time) are collected via server logs.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data are deleted after seven days unless required for evidence.

Matomo (formerly PIWIK)

We use Matomo to analyse website usage. IPs are anonymised.

Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Contact via WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., Dublin.

WhatsApp and Meta receive your phone number and contact information.

Data may be transferred to the USA under standard contractual clauses.
